PLS Logistics Services is seeking a relationship-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to expand and strengthen partnerships within our existing key customer base. This role is ideal for a sales professional experienced in deep account penetration, working with new locations, departments, and decision-makers within large organizations.
Unlike a traditional sales role focused on hunting new business, the KAM will be responsible for account expansion, acting as a strategic partner to ensure customer success and uncover new revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
🔹 Expand Existing Customer Relationships – Identify and develop new contacts and locations within current key accounts.
🔹 Be the Corporate Face for Key Customers – Act as a trusted partner, ensuring deep engagement and high visibility across client organizations.
🔹 Collaborate Across Departments – Work closely with PLS brokerage and operations teams to drive new business within existing accounts.
🔹 Drive Revenue Growth Through Account Expansion – Leverage data, insights, and customer relationships to increase volume and service offerings.
🔹 Lead Customer Business Reviews – Provide strategic insights, reporting, and long-term planning to deepen partnerships and maximize retention.
✔ 5+ years of experience in logistics, brokerage, or freight account management.
✔ Proven success in expanding existing accounts and growing revenue.
✔ Comfortable navigating large organizations to uncover new contacts and opportunities.
✔ Strong relationship-builder with executive presence and consultative sales skills.
✔ Data-driven mindset – Ability to use analytics to identify expansion opportunities.
✔ Hands-on, proactive approach – Willing to personally engage clients, make calls, and conduct in-person meetings.
