Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Engagement Specialist to join our team. The Engagement Specialist will be responsible for driving outreach efforts to brokers and carriers through targeted calls and messages, with a focus on increasing engagement and capacity posting on the platform. This role will involve working closely with the engagement team to execute campaigns aimed at boosting carrier participation and driving the adoption of best practices. 

 

Responsibilities

Outreach and Engagement: 

  • Drive calls and messages to a targeted subset of brokers and lanes to increase engagement on the platform. 
  • Use data and insights from 123 as baselines to track and improve outreach efforts. 
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of outreach campaigns, adjusting tactics as needed. 

Promote Best Practices: 

  • Advocate for carriers to post their available capacity as a best practice to secure loads and maximize opportunities on the platform. 
  • Educate carriers and brokers on the benefits of active participation and capacity posting. 
  • Support and encourage platform adoption, ensuring users understand how to leverage available tools to increase their success. 

 

Job Aid Development & Support: 

  • Contribute to the development of a "job aid" that provides guidance on how to use 123 to identify and prioritize carriers. 
  • Assist carriers and brokers in navigating the platform, ensuring they can effectively utilize features such as capacity posting and search functionalities. 

 

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Collaborate with other team members to align strategies and share insights on effective engagement tactics. 
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to enhance the outreach process and increase user adoption. 
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with internal teams, including product development and marketing. 

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting: 

  • Track key metrics related to calls, messages, and engagement levels, reporting on progress toward team goals. 
  • Use data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of focus to drive greater engagement.

Future Scaling & Innovation: 

  • Assist in the exploration and testing of AI-powered tools (e.g., bot callers) to scale engagement efforts. 
  • Contribute to the potential development of a "white glove" service offering aimed at high-touch support and enhanced user experiences. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer engagement, outreach, or sales support role. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence users effectively. 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven outreach strategies. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on improving processes and outcomes. 
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new platforms and tools. 
  • Knowledge of the transportation or logistics industry is a plus, but not required.
